Pay Range
The pay range for this position is between $139,771.00 – $180,000.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research, design, and develop computer software and production applications.
• Independently develop and consistently redesign/refactor product to adapt to customer and associate needs.
• Involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring.
• Mentor less experienced engineers.
• Develop test suites to enable success and rapid deployment of code to production.
• Collaborate with other team members in agile processes.
• Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are valuable, developer ready, easy to understand and testable.
• Deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
• Help grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks, and leading technical discussions.
• Telecommuting available.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered on in a related occupation. Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related field.
