HEALTH INSURANCE
Home Depot offers medical, dental, and vision plans for hourly (full- and part-time) and salaried associates.
TIME OFF
Taking time off is important not just because you earned it, but also for your health. Full-time Hourly (FT), Part-time Hourly (PT), and Salaried associates earn vacation and sick time that can be used in times of need or for reasons that are important to them.
Vacation
- Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year
- Associates in ME are eligible for 1 week of vacation and 1 week of PTO in their first year
- FT Hourly associates will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service
- PT Hourly associates will be eligible for 20 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service
- Temporary associates are not eligible for vacation benefits except in locations where it is required by city/county/state law
Sick Time
- Salaried associates are eligible for short-term disability from their date of hire and any applicable city/county/state mandated paid sick time (runs concurrently)
- FT Hourly associates will earn 4 hours of sick/personal time per month or the amount provided under applicable city/county/state mandated paid sick time, whichever is greater
- PT Hourly associates will earn 2 hours of sick/personal time per month or the amount provided under applicable city/county/state mandated paid sick time, whichever is greater
- Temporary associates are eligible for paid sick time in accordance with applicable city/county/state requirements
Paid Holidays
Home Depot provides eligible associates with six paid holidays per year
PAID MATERNITY/PAID PARENTAL LEAVE
Home Depot provides eligible associates with paid maternity leave and/or paid parental leave.
