Position Purpose:
This position works to administer the documents governing real estate in specified geographic regions including retail/commercial leases and operating agreements. The position is responsible for lease interpretation and tracking critical dates, financial and operational obligations. Works closely with Real Estate, Lease Accounting, Property Tax, Legal, Building Services and the landlords/developers/property management companies.
Major Tasks and Key Accountabilities:
- 40% Administration of real estate agreements managing critical dates, dollars and obligations through Company databases.
- 30% Primary contact for landlords on property administration issues and conducting research required for making recommendations on dispute resolutions.
- 15% Estoppels/SNDAs
- 10% Maintaining all lease data in Company databases and compiles reports for business partner analytics.
- 5% Prepare required legal notices and communications required by leases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs economic and financial research and analyzes internal and external issues related to sales, gross margin, rate of return, working capital, investment, financial performance, and other financial metrics.
- Compiles or prepares reports, graphs and charts of developed data.
- Conducts special financial and statistical studies as directed in coordination with other departments in the preparation of statistical studies.
- Gathers and correlates basic information using established and defined financial procedures
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position typically reports to a Sr Manager
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Must meet reasonable deadlines, quotas or demands for accuracy and/or may be involved in some mildly difficult situations
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate or a related field is preferred.
- Three to five years real estate or lease administration experience is preferred.
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
Work From Home – Location Specific – An associate in this role primarily works from home but is assigned a THD location and is periodically required to report to their in-office location. Associates must live within the same state and within a commutable distance of their assigned THD location.
