Position Purpose:
As a Paid Search Media Manager at The Home Depot, you will lead a team of paid media professionals that are responsible for executing and optimizing Paid Search investments across Google, Bing and other biddable media platforms. The Paid Search Manager will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to understand business objectives and oversee the development and execution of best-in-class Paid Search strategies that surpass expectations. The Paid Search Manager supervises a team of 2-5 direct reports and coordinates with external service providers to deliver best-in-class results.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10% Budget Management – Budget management and stewardship of omni-channel investments
- 15% Channel Expertise – Partner with omni-channel partners, key stakeholders and business/initiative leaders across the enterprise to develop channel recommendations that support key customer, business and marketing goals and objectives
- 20% Direct Omni-Channel Plans – Help direct media agency and/or supervise direct reports on creation and execution of department-level omni-channel plans
- 10% Reporting & Learning – Support the analysis of reporting on channel performance and audience behaviors and incorporate learnings into current and future planning
- 25% Stakeholder Relationship Management – Develop and maintain strong relationships with key omni-channel stakeholders and business/initiative leaders across the enterprise
- 20% Test & Learn – Test and learn new and emerging omni-channel trends/opportunities that will help support frictionless customer experiences, drive our business and create competitive advantage
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position typically reports to Sr Manager, Media
- This position has various direct reports
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Omni-channel agency planning/buying experience
- Hands-on Paid Search experience managing large budgets and multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated proficiency in Google Ads and Bing Ads paid management platforms
- Masterly of 3rd party tracking and serving technology related to SEM (Search Ads 360 DoubleClick, Skai/Kenshoo, Marin, Adobe, Acquisio, etc)
- Active Google Ads, Bing/Microsoft Ads, SA360, Skai/Kenshoo or Marin Certifications preferred
- Possess a basic understanding of all digital media disciplines
- Previous management experience is desired
- Strong project management and multi-tasking skills are a must
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail oriented with strong attention to project management and follow-through
- Excellent presentation and analytical skills
- Exemplary written and oral communication skills
- Expert-level Excel and strong PowerPoint (PPT) skills
- Previous media agency experience preferred
- Must be a team player willing to provide support where needed with projects and planning

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
Work From Home – Location Specific – An associate in this role primarily works from home but is assigned a THD location and is periodically required to report to their in-office location. Associates must live within the same state and within a commutable distance of their assigned THD location.
