Position Purpose:
Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of programs and processes that enable sales to THD Professional Customers. Focuses on growth, program and process development, operations productivity, customer contact management and government and national account interface. Programs and processes include Sales Opportunity walk process and automation, will-call and delivery process improvement, new training programs and curriculum enhancements, merchandising and marketing interface, HDCC programs, Contractor Services Website and enterprise integration processes, operations productivity, sales per hour, labor and staffing, delivery and will-calls, training implementation and tracking, all communication to and from the field (E-room, Pro Gatekeepers and marketing communications.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of selling processes including sales per hour improvement, construction loan and commercial credit
- Responsible for operations processes such as deliver/will-call, item locator, AM and free delivery management, sales opportunity walk execution and measurement.
- Staffing including D42 and 94 staffing, template staffing, Leap support and management
- Responsible for training curriculum implementation and compliance
- Oversees communication including E-room development and maintenance, pro pilot communications, operations gatekeeper interface, quantity and quality control
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Typically reports to Director Pro Business
- Accountable for the management of a department or functional group through subordinate supervisors/managers and for all personnel issues — including selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development of subordinates.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

- Computer skills: Powerpoint, Excel, Word, are a must. Access is preferred.

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
