Position Purpose:
The Senior Flooring Sales Specialist is a pivotal role focused on driving sales, delivering tailored solutions, and enhancing the end-to-end customer journey. This role combines expert consultative selling with a customer-first approach to create meaningful relationships, exceed sales targets, and ensure satisfaction at every touchpoint.
The Senior Flooring Sales Specialist provides personalized recommendations and solutions through a deep understanding of customer needs, product knowledge, and Home Depot processes. By leveraging advanced sales methodologies and managing a robust pipeline of leads, this role delivers innovative solutions, elevates the customer experience, and drives business success while fostering project loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10% – Collaboration and Coordination – Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Home Depot Associates and service providers, to ensure seamless coordination and successful execution of sales and services. Identify opportunities to enhance operational processes and align team efforts with corporate objectives
- 40% – Consultative Selling – Provide tailored suggestions and solutions to customers through expert consultative selling and visual presentations, inspiring confidence and driving sales. Leverage product and service knowledge to identify opportunities and meet unique customer needs, consistently exceeding sales objectives.
- 40% – Customer Experience Leadership – Build and nurture high-value relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and trust throughout the entire sales journey. Deliver an effortless customer experience by setting clear expectations, ensuring accuracy in detail, and addressing concerns proactively.
- 10% – Sales Strategy and Pipeline Management – Take ownership of the sales lifecycle by managing a pipeline of leads and driving results through strategic targeting and prioritization. Develop and execute innovative solutions to enhance the customer journey and optimize team effectiveness.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
