Pay Range
The pay range for this position is between $129,800.00 – $165,000.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.
Position Purpose:
The purpose of the Director, Field Execution – Sales is to provide strategic leadership and direction for consultative sales strategies and store engagement for the Services organization. The associate is responsible for in-home sales strategy, sales enablement, sales operations, process improvement, and strategic initiatives, with a goal of driving overall consultative sales performance in our Services branch locations and field teams. The Director, Field Execution – Sales will partner and serve as the consultant to field teams to drive quality field implementation and evaluate delivery excellence and capabilities of key initiatives. The associate in this role will also be responsible for oversight and direction of the roll-out and implementation of solutions related to strategic initiatives, process optimization and driving the overall Services selling culture. The associate in this role will oversee field resources assigned to support the Services field teams, with tactical activities such process-related problem resolution, as well as supporting change management.
Key Responsibilities:
- 40% Lead the consultative selling strategies, sales enablement approach, and sales operations execution for Services field organization.
- 40% Drive operational process improvement through implementation of strategic initiatives, including partnering with Learning and Development to deliver programs that support the training & development of our consultative selling skills
- 10% Oversee development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- 10% Oversee field resources assigned to support Services field teams, with tactical activities such as process-related problem resolution, as well as supporting change management.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position typically reports to Sr. Director, Services Field Support.
- This position has 5-10 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8 plus years' experience in field or related field
- Consultative sales, sales operations, and/or sales enablement background
- Experience building teams and managing direct reports
- Experience and knowledge of field operations, store operations, sales processes and the home services industry
- Experience with change management and driving consistent execution and accountability
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
