Position Purpose
The Sr. Analyst of Internal/External Discovery & International is responsible for performing research and exploring Payments industry developments to identify new payment functions/ innovations, technological enhancements, and process improvements that drive sales and improve the customer experience at the lowest cost.
Core responsibilities also include supporting THD’s Canada and Mexico teams on payments-related initiatives as well as the Manager of Next Gen Payments.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Advocacy
- Performing market research to assist with long-range planning activities
- Attending trade shows and participating in advocacy group activities (e.g. MAG)
- Works with industry groups to stay abreast of semi-annual card brand releases and impacts to THD
Managerial Support
- Supports the Manager of Next Gen Payments in bringing new payments solutions to market (may own and drive certain initiatives end to end)
- Partnering with IT and Product teams on tracking initiatives on a monthly/quarterly basis (or more frequently as needed).
International Support
- Partners with Canada and Mexico teams to connect with appropriate US resources on key initiatives
- Supports with analysis and reporting as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience
- Strong organizational skills to manage projects end-to-end
- Experience with project management tools
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proactive, collaborative, and professional
- Collaborates effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at various levels.
- Escalates when appropriate for support from leadership
- Spanish fluency a plus

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
