Position Purpose:
The AR Associate is charged with the proper invoicing within standard polices reflective of the customers’ requirements. He or she shall work with any and all personnel to assure timely and accurate invoicing and rating occurs. The billing personnel will, at times, be required to interface with other departments. In addition, the AR Associate will assist with month-end closing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- 100% – Accounts Receivable – Assist with month-end, create journal entries and be able to understand the general ledger. Enter information to create invoice; review information and invoicing for accuracy; create spreadsheets as required by customer; upload for payment. Prepare smart lists of all completed calls for specific customers; analyze all paperwork submitted and verify accuracy by field service professionals to ensure accurate billing. Communicate with field service professionals for any missing information

Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Two-year degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or like discipline
- Billing, invoicing or other basic accounting related experience
- General Ledger and Journal Entry experience
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains a plus
- Excellent 10-Key
- Intermediate computer program knowledge

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Paid Time Off Benefits
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
