Division Mgr Finance provides total financial leadership, direction and analysis to the divisional and regional leadership teams. The Division Mgr Finance plays a key role in driving division and region performance, controlling costs, and works closely with the Division Finance leaders in order to achieve business goals and create shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities:
- 30% Planning/Forecasting: build store level sales, wage, margin, inventory, G&A and expense plans; evaluate sales, inventory, ,margin, impact and expense plan adjustments; forecast sales, labor, expenses and G&A.
- 30% Financial Reviews: review stats & controllable expenses and provide actions and solutions to increase profitability; review payroll components including Off-Cycle, New Hire and FT/PT mix; review P&L, provide variance explanations and submit monthly reclasses and accruals to Accounting; prepare regional analysis and contribute on regional leadership calls.
- 30% Adhoc financial analysis: conduct root cause analysis; adhoc executive reporting and analysis; perform market/district analysis; adhoc HR and Compensation reviews; perform product sales trend analysis
- 5% Training: conduct field financial training sessions.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Typically reports to Division Finance Leader
- Supports Divisional and Regional leadership teams
- No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

- Knowledge of THD systems, specifically SAP; Khalix (expense and sales); Pro Clarity; Business Warehouse (BW); Analytics Cube; Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Powerpoint).
- MBA preferred

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
Work From Home – Location Specific – An associate in this role primarily works from home but is assigned a THD location and is periodically required to report to their in-office location. Associates must live within the same state and within a commutable distance of their assigned THD location.
