Position Purpose:
The Sr Analyst, Pricing BI – Pro will support The Home Depot's Pro Pricing Strategy team by delivering end-to-end analytics and business intelligence solutions. This role will focus on developing new data products, dashboards, and performance insights that inform strategic pricing initiatives, including account-level pricing programs, markdown governance, and large-scale pricing pilots. The ideal candidate combines advanced technical ability in SQL and BI tools with a strong understanding of data storytelling and business impact. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Pricing, Analytics, Loyalty, and Pro Merchandising.
Key Responsibilities:
- 25% Innovate and present appropriate visualization of information to illustrate trends, exceptions, etc
- 25% Interacts with business users and IT project managers to understand requirements and able to engage data engineers and modelers for data acquisition and staging
- 25% Develop business intelligence visualization deliverables in Tableau and/or Microstrategy
- 25% Execute project management activities for business intelligence deliverables. Identify and proactively manage key success factors for the project in regards to scope, resources, and risk in addition to structuring tasks and allocating work across cross-functional teams.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in a quantitative discipline
- Intermediate to advanced level experience with one of visualization business intelligence tools: MicroStrategy or Tableau
- Advanced technical skills to retrieve, manipulate, analyze and interpret large amounts of data (>1 billion rows)
- A thorough understanding of SQL and experience working with any cloud based database systems (Google BigQuery, Azure, Amazon Redshift)
- Experience with other scripting/programming language (VBA, Python, R, SAS, .NET, C++, Java)
- Experience working with cross-functional business teams to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
