Job Description
Position Purpose:
Responsible for developing and executing audience marketing strategies and plans for Home Depot’s Online Decor business. Leads a team of two direct reports, ensuring strong tactical execution and integration, to increase awareness, and drive demand and sales. Collaborate with merchant leadership to define and monitor marketing KPIs and goals that are aligned to achieve business priorities. Provide senior leadership with marketing recommendations to support annual planning and company promotional events. Frequently analyze data to create targeted messaging approaches to drive awareness-to-action. Role reports to Director of Audience Marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
- 30% Work cross-functionally w/key stakeholders (e.g., Customer Insights, Marketing Analytics, HD.com, Merchandising, Marketing, PR, & Social). Responsible for effectively driving education & partnerships internally/externally in organization.
- 40% Program Mgmt. -Design/execute audience-marketing strategy for Audience Marketing campaigns (developing hypothesis, data strategy; creative strategy, activation and reporting activities. Strategic recommendations to scale Audience Marketing, integration into business priorities; share knowledge w/ stakeholders. Direct external agency team.
- 30% Reporting/Metrics -Ensure programs delivered on-time/ budget & determine effectiveness of Audience Marketing spend/ resource. Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring impact of audience-marketing programs, & analyze effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results. Build weekly status reports and executive-level presentations as needed.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This role reports to the Director of Audience Marketing.
- This position has 2 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and MS Office
- Ability to understand the basics of technology associated with social media, customer communications, online marketing and eBusiness – Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to think and respond quickly maintaining attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail Marketing experience
- Data analytics experiences
- Programmatic buying, audience-centered marketing experience is a plus

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
Work From Home – Location Specific – An associate in this role primarily works from home but is assigned a THD location and is periodically required to report to their in-office location. Associates must live within the same state and within a commutable distance of their assigned THD location.
