Pay Range
The pay range for this position is between $45,000.00 – $130,000.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.
Position Purpose:
A Product Support specialist/Inventory specialist participates in all the activities in our organization related to asset management lifecycle, order fulfillment, purchase ordering receiving, warehousing, and deploying IT equipment to the enterprise.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fulfill orders to retail, non-retail and corporate locations
- Receive assets from manufacturers and repair vendors
- Allocate assets into appropriate inventories
- Contribute inputs in process improvements
- Cross-train new associates
- Performs scheduled inventory counts and report the results
- Performs periodic quality control of devices received
- Provides shipping information to internal/external teams, stores, logistics sites and corporate users
- Operates reach trucks and electric pallet jacks
- Ensure accuracy in all warehouse activities
Environment
· Fast paced working environment
· Warehouse could be noisy at times
· No-climate control
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Typically reports to the Product Support Supervisor, Product Support Manager or Sr. Manager.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 year experience with IBM Control Desk or other inventory management tool
- Be able to operate lift rucks
- Knowledge of Microsoft application such as Excel and PowerPoint
- 2 year experience with inventory control procedures
- 2 year experience with asset tracking tools and procedures
- Be able to work on a warehouse environment
- Standing on their feet for more than 3 hours is required
- Be able to lift 30 LBS

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Onsite – An associate in an onsite role is required to work at a specific Home Depot location in order to complete their job duties. We also refer to this as location – dependent.
