Position Purpose:
The Senior Manager, Organizational Development is responsible for developing, implementing and enhancing Organizational programs across the enterprise. The incumbent serves as the organization's go to person for change management, organizational design, team effectiveness and leadership/executive development solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10% Provides leadership, consultation and guidance to the company on organizational development strategies
- 30% Leads the design and deployment of enterprise-wide development initiatives targeted to senior leaders: Uses business and competitive market insights to identify solutions that ensure organizational development supports business growth strategies
- 20% Applies change management principles and best practices: Engages in executive-level coaching; manages a cohort of external executives
- 20% Conducts Leadership and Executive developmental assessments, feedback and action planning
- 10% Partners with HR Leaders to ensure common approach for: Coaching, Mentoring, and Career Management
- 10% Provides advice on organizational structure and job design to facilitate change, recruitment and retention goals: Consults and lends expertise to leaders on maximizing team development and effectiveness: Collaborates with HR leaders & business partners to ensure that the delivery of programs is well coordinated and executed
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Position reports to Director, Organizational Development
- Number of Direct Reports – 2
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred – with I/O Psychology,
- Organization Development, Organizational Behavior or related concentration
- Experience developing and implementing customized organizational development solutions initiatives
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Minimum Years of Work Experience:
- 8

- A strong sense of urgency, action-orientation, drive for results and pragmatism are a must
- Demonstrated ability to develop practical solutions to address complex organizational challenges
- Ability to interact effectively with and influence executive leaders

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; strong facilitation skills
- Strong project management skills must have ability to initiate project plans and balance multiple changing deadlines and priorities

- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
Paid Time Off Benefits
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
