Pay Range
The pay range for this position is between $85,000.00 – $105,000.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.
Position Purpose:
The Sr. Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Consultant works with a team of peers and other HR professionals on a wide variety of large-scale and/or high-impact HR projects. This role is part of the Selection and Developmental Assessment team within OE. Responsibilities include leading and managing OE projects such as developing, validating, and managing assessment solutions for selection and development, designing and administering surveys, performing advanced statistical modeling and analysis, building competency models, conducting applied research, and consulting with a wide range of business partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- 30% Consulting – Consult with Human Resources and business partners on products and solutions
- 70% Project Management – Lead and support the design, implementation and cross-functional collaboration of various department solutions and Talent Management/HR projects.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position reports to Manager or Sr Manager of Organizational Effectiveness.
- This position has 0 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple complex projects.
- Ability to build relationships and consult with internal customers on selection and developmental assessment needs.
- Working knowledge of analytical/statistics software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R,) and advanced mathematical/statistical techniques.
- Knowledge of psychometric testing approaches and legal implications.
- Ability to negotiate, answer questions, and resolve issues with both internal and external partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Preferred Education Requirements: Doctorate or master's degree in I/O Psychology or related field.
- Preferred Work Experience: 4 + years of previous related work experience.
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Paid Time Off Benefits
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
