Pay Range
The pay range for this position is between $35.00 – $40.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.
Internship Overview
The Home Depot’s Summer Internship program offers college students an opportunity to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment. During an 11– week period from May 12 – July 25, 2025, interns will be assigned to a functional team such as Supply Chain, Marketing, e-commerce, Technology, Finance, Operations, Merchandising, Outside Sales & Services, Human Resources, etc. Interns will learn more about our retail business and our corporate offices while having the opportunity to work on a pre-assigned project that impacts the function they are supporting. Additionally, interns participate in networking and development activities that set them up for success as they build their careers.

Description of the major/subject area:
The Product Manager Intern works hand in hand, and is often paired with, the other members of a product team (PM, UX, Engineering) to find the fastest way to achieve value around business needs. The role focuses on assessing customer needs and performing qualitative and quantitative research to discover feature ideas and validate them for a designated product. The Product Management Intern should aim to deliver business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction through the creation of quality products. The Product Manager Intern will work closely with more experienced Product Managers to gain proficiency in value creation, prioritization, defining MVP, user story construction, and overall product management. The focus of our Product internship is on learning day-to-day operations and obtaining an overall comprehension of business for The Home Depot.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an advanced degree in a product or related field
- Excellent academic performance
- Preferred GPA 3.0 or above
Location:
Remote Interns will be primarily remote throughout the 11-week program but may be required to travel to our Atlanta corporate office (Store Support Center) for up to 3 weeks during the program. Travel expenses will be covered for eligible interns.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
Typically reports to Manager
No responsibility for supervising others.
Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Minimum Education:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Paid Time Off Benefits
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
