Position Purpose:
Responsible for developing and executing Visual Merchandising solutions, fixture ideation & development, and artwork for existing and new Crown Bolt products. Establish and maintain standards & records for Visual Merchandising representation of the business. Lead all test & learn fixture development and implementation. Oversee project estimations and the development of project deliverables. Manage onsite test & learn facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- 25% Works with internal and external partners to guide development, pull-through and implementation of Merchandising Strategies & In-Store Customer Experience for PBMS projects.
- 25% Works closely with Product Development and Merchandising teams to develop merchandising concepts that meet business objectives and advance brand strategy/presentation. Develops, documents, and executes procedures for the development of the Visual Merchandising guidelines and ongoing revisions.
- 25% Coordinates and delegates Visual & Creative projects that are critical elements to the yearly growth plan. Assesses and manages risk over the project lifecycle. Identifies and manages project issues that arise within team.
- 15% Coordinates communication efforts internally to other PBMS/Crown Bolt departments and also with various external service providers, local groups and businesses, sponsors and agencies as appropriate. Responsible for maintaining communication to Sr Leadership team on Visual Merchandising team project statuses and new initiatives.
- 10% Plan, design, and research schedules and resource allocation.

- This position reports to Sr. Manager Crown Bolt.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Retail Merchandising, Graphic Design or Visual Communications is preferable
- Management experience working with in-store environment, customer experience and fixture development
- Mastery of the latest tools, platforms, and versions of applicable software programs – Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools. CAD or other 2D/3D design software also helpful
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Proficient in the use of Project Management Software tools with demonstrative growth in use of project methodologies
- Knowledge of retail design fundamentals for online and offline channels
- Knowledge of fixture production
- Have the ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers, internal & external partners
- A strong working knowledge of Customer Experience, retail design and creative process
- Must have an understanding of creative & production processes (ideation, proofing, design, testing, production) and milestones

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
