Position Purpose:
The Director, IT Finance Strategy provides leadership, direction and analysis to the management team related to the IT strategic initiatives in order to achieve business goals and add shareholder value. The Director will play a key role in driving alignment, execution, accountability and governance related to strategic initiatives. This position will be responsible for driving IT's transformation to a modern software development organization; creating key metrics and accountabilities to add value and productivity to the organization; and developing the long term roadmap for the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- 25% Drives leadership task force for the IT Transformation. Serves as the Finance leader on contract negotiations related to strategic initiatives.
- Drives market intelligence on best practices and benchmarking related to IT Transformation and financial controls and governance.
- 20% Create sustainable process for measuring and quantifying the benefits of IT investments. Models and tracks results of all initiatives and provides transparency to executive leadership team.
- 15% Partners with IT, Finance, and Business to pro-actively identify and resolve risks and obstacles to help drive change management.
- 25% Models out long term road-map of financial transformation as a result of cloud, labor strategy, store infrastructure, equipment leasing, and modern software development.
- 15% Manages and leads a team supporting Infrastructure, Operations, Networking, Engineering, IT Help desk, and Store hardware, maintenance and telecom
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position reports to Vice President, IT Finance
- This position has direct reports
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- Financial planning and analysis experience
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Preferred Education:
- No additional education

Paid Time Off Benefits
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
