Position Purpose:
The AT guides overall direction, coordination, and operation of all Corporate Treasury functions for the global enterprise. These responsibilities include developing a strategic vision for the corporate treasury department, leading execution of capital markets transactions (i.e., bond & CP issuance, share repurchases, derivatives/hedges), and managing daily cash operations, investment allocation, and financial risk exposures. The AT manages relationships with external banking partners, rating agencies, and bondholders. The AT also manages relationships with internal partners. This includes evaluating financing strategies and banking considerations for potential mergers and acquisitions with the Strategic Business Development team, forecasting cash and liquidity needs with the Financial Planning and Analysis team, evaluating treasury and tax strategies with the Tax team, and other internal projects and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- 25% Formulating capital structure strategy and managing debt/credit portfolios
- Managing all aspects of accessing capital markets as an investor, borrower, and/or equity issuer
- Managing financial forecasting processes and global cash management
- 25% Designing and implementing hedging strategies for FX, interest rates, and commodity exposures
- Managing daily cash management activities, controls, and projects
- Managing transactional banking issues, relationships, and projects
- 25% Providing analysis of financial instruments, transactions, strategies, and/or companies
- Providing investment management and general economic consulting to internal business partners
- 25% Managing all banking and rating agency relationships
- Preparing regular and ad hoc reporting to the Board of Directors
- G&A oversight for the Treasury department
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position reports to Treasurer
- This position has 3 Direct Reports
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10-15 years related experience in treasury leadership roles
- Formulating and regularly assessing capital structure, including the management of debt/credit portfolios
- Managing financial forecasting processes and global cash management
- Designing and implementing hedging strategies for FX, interest rates, and commodity exposures

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
Work From Home – Location Specific – An associate in this role primarily works from home but is assigned a THD location and is periodically required to report to their in-office location. Associates must live within the same state and within a commutable distance of their assigned THD location.
