Position Purpose:
As a Lead Aircraft Technician, you will perform aircraft maintenance in compliance with the manufacturer's recommended maintenance program and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs). You will conduct routine scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring prompt resolution of Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events. Prioritizing safety, quality, and passenger comfort in all maintenance activities is essential. You will serve as an in-house technical expert, providing guidance and specialized knowledge on aircraft systems and operations. Additionally, you will oversee daily maintenance schedules, coordinating to support aircraft arrivals, departures, and required maintenance tasks. Managing and maintaining ground support equipment and inventory levels at the local site to ensure operational readiness is also a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- 60% Perform maintenance on the aircraft.
- 10% Prioritize and layout asks for fellow maintenance associates for day to day maintenance and for larger inspections.
- 10% Manage the discrepancy and due list for each of the aircraft and schedule the items for completion within a reasonable timeframe.
- 10% Implement and manage the R11 Quality Control inspection program.
- 10% Manage the Computerized Maintenance Inspection Program. Manage the data tracking distribution of the manufacturer's technical conformity information.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Reports to Maintenance Manager
- No direct responsibility for supervising others.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
- Inspection Authorization (IA) License
- ASTM NCATT Aviation Electronics (AET) Certification
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field
- Dassault Falcon 2000EX EASy Initial Training and Experience

Onsite – An associate in an onsite role is required to work at a specific Home Depot location in order to complete their job duties. We also refer to this as location – dependent.
