Position Purpose:

The Interconnected Finance team provides financial leadership, direction, and analysis to the Online management team responsible for growing Home Depot’s digital business. With an analytics-first approach, the team provides visibility and insights into HD.com sales & margin trends, creates financial expressions of various online growth initiatives, and monitors the competitive landscape.
The Manager of Interconnected Finance & Strategy will be expected to provide financial leadership as a key partner to our Interconnected & Online Strategy teams. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for creating and tracking financial expressions of various online-driven growth initiatives, working cross-functionally across Finance and the business, in addition to quarterly executive reporting. As a member of the strategic leadership team for the function, the leader of Finance will play a key role in driving functional metrics, controlling costs, and work closely with finance leadership, in order to achieve business goals and create shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Analysis/Problem Solving – Works to fully understand business; identify and implement process and organizational improvements. Plans and ensures execution of department objectives. Participates in preparation of the annual budget, reviews monthly expenditures and ensures that budgetary goals are met. Reviews monthly metrics to ensure goals are met.

Conduct financial planning for function and make appropriate recommendations.

Leads, plans, and coordinates work teams in an efficient manner to effectively perform any financial function and activity; utilizes metrics to track performance and manage workload. Ensures operational processes and procedures are compliant and consist with established policies.

Drive key functional financial metrics.

Project Management- Develops and supports a strategic alliance with business partners. Participates in cross-functional activities focused on solving business issues and enhancing our competitive advantage. Facilitates cross-functional communication with other areas of the business including but not limited to Finance, Human Resources, Real Estate, Operations, and Information Systems.

Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
