As the Claims Supervisor for Delivery Claims, you will be responsible for overseeing the claims process related to merchandise deliveries and appliance installations. This role involves overseeing a team of claims adjusters, ensuring that claims are processed efficiently, and maintaining high standards of customer service. You will work closely with various departments to resolve claims issues and implement improvements to enhance our claims operations.
Key Responsibilities:
20% Provides direction to claims adjusters relative to the most beneficial settlement alternatives and final disposition.
20% Handle escalated claims and customer inquiries, providing excellent service and resolution.
10% Provides adjusting training on Home Depot Quality Standards.10% Oversee the claims processing workflow, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of claims.
10% Ensures compliance with established claims management procedures and best practices in claims management. 10% Measures customer and store service satisfaction.
10% Promotes accurate claim reserving and recommends claim closure strategy.
10% Collaborate with delivery teams, customer care representatives, and external partners to resolve complex claim issues.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports
Typically reports to Manager of Claims.
No associates report to this role on a permanent basis but requires the leadership of a work group: assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).
Travel Requirements

No overnight travel required.
Physical Requirements
No
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Work Location

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
Work From Home – Location Specific – An associate in this role primarily works from home but is assigned a THD location and is periodically required to report to their in-office location. Associates must live within the same state and within a commutable distance of their assigned THD location.
