Performs risk assessments on various functional areas of the company, participates in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning and assists in the design of the Enterprise-wide Risk Management Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review insurance and indemnification of contracts.
- Design, run and distribute analytical and comparative risk reports for monthly statistical reporting.
- Oversight of insurance compliance and insurance administration (I.e., certificates of insurance, vehicle identification cards, etc.) progams.
- Work closely with Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning team in establishing processes and procedures for the organization.
- Act as liaison with outside vendors and other related interfaces
- Coordinate the integration of various risk data, claims data and exposure data (I.e., labor hours, transactions and sales) into the Enterprise-wide Risk Management Program.
- Coordinate the preparation of U.S. and International insurance renewal information and applications.
- Other projects as assigned.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Typically reports to Director of Risk Management
- No direct responsibility for supervising others.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree Preferred
- ARM, CPCU preferred
- Knowledge of risk analysis.
- Experience in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning
- Understanding of financial/accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience with data integration and management information systems.

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
Work From Home – Location Specific – An associate in this role primarily works from home but is assigned a THD location and is periodically required to report to their in-office location. Associates must live within the same state and within a commutable distance of their assigned THD location.
