Pay Range
The pay range for this position is between $120,000.00 – $220,000.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.
Position Purpose:
The Senior Manager of Platform Strategy at Orange Apron Media, a division of The Home Depot, will be responsible for leading the end-to-end (E2E) workflow and overseeing all advertising systems required to execute media strategies effectively. This role requires a deep understanding of digital media, advertising technology, and the operational frameworks that drive successful media campaigns. The Senior Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, product development, and external partners, to ensure that all platform capabilities are optimized for performance and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10% Promote and grow the practice with both internal and external partners. Partners with internal teams and evangelizes program internally with organizational stakeholders, e.g. MMMs, brand advocates, sales, account management, CEX, Search, product, engineering, etc.
- 20% Work cross-functionally and externally with the teams responsible for implementing new products. Evangelizes program and roadmap internally to partner product and engineering teams
- 25% Developing and managing a team of direct reports to drive program execution. Provide day to day leadership on program strategy and execution to both internal and vendor teams. Provide guidance on revenue opportunities and goals across retail media teams
- 25% Build and champion the commerce marketing product strategy for the company. Provide business leadership to product management teams to identify and launch new inventory. Provides day to day technical leadership and execution for the program
- 10% Develop reporting tools and monitor ongoing performance of Commerce Marketing activity
- 10% Select and manage external vendors as needed to support the practice
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position reports to the Director
- This position has 2 Direct Reports
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in digital media, advertising technology, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience with E2E workflow management and platform strategy is essential.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of digital advertising ecosystems, including DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, ad servers, and data analytics platforms. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and translate them into actionable strategies. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the retail and e-commerce landscape, particularly in relation to media and advertising strategies.

Paid Time Off Benefits
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
