Position Purpose:
This CRM COE Manager position oversees our Lifecycle Triggers and Mobile (SMS and Push) Strategies. This role will be responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize our onboarding and retargeting programs and focus on the continued evolution of our mobile strategy as we encourage customers to leverage the THD App through more personalized messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- 10% Brand Awareness – Help drive demand creation by creating brand awareness activities for internal associates
- 10% Execution – Organic Initiative Execution: Lead and support cross-functional project teams to manage and execute high value initiatives, special projects and requests for Marketing and Business leaders
- 20% Projects – Manage online and offline marketing programs throughout the project lifecycle; including discovery and initial assessment, program definition, negotiation of key partnerships, development of creative, program launch, measurement and reporting that supports execution of the planning and activation process
- 60% Strategies – Strategy Formulation and Activation: Design and conduct analysis to evaluate customer and market landscapes, competitors, and current business strategies to build an enterprise brand strategy and channel communications plan consistent with our multi-channel marketing strategies
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position typically reports to Sr Manager, CRM Marketing
- This position has 2 Direct Reports
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A minimum of 5+ years' experience in marketing, communications, or media planning, either at another company or at a media/advertising agency
- The ability to link business goals to communication strategies and creative concepts
- A strong formal and informed advocate of brand communications strategies and tactics, particularly to internal stakeholders
- A high interest in developments in technology and media that can affect brand communications, and the ability to communicate and advocate to all relevant brand constituencies how these developments can change the competitive and media landscape
- Must be able to manage multiple internal and external partnerships and coalesce them into a united front supporting key brand initiatives
- Background in managing mobile (SMS, push, in-app message) and/or email campaigns is a plus.

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Paid Time Off (PTO):
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.

Remote/virtual – An associate in a remote/virtual role typically is not required to work from a designated Home Depot location to complete their job duties. Limited or infrequent in-office presence may be required. We also refer to this as location – independent.
