Pay Range

The pay range for this position is between $65,000.00 – $100,000.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Position Purpose:
The Senior Analyst, SEO Analytics position assists in the development of advanced analytics to support The Home Depot’s organic online marketing strategies. The role provides reporting, insights and recommendations to enable the HomeDepot.com teams to identify optimization opportunities and make data-driven decisions that drive traffic and conversion. The role is responsible for translating business questions into actionable insights, supporting ongoing analytical needs, designing new analytical tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality analytical solutions for HomeDepot.com. This role is expected to leverage effective communication skills to translate complex analyses into understandable insights as well as possess a passion to learn and develop.
Key Responsibilities:
- 20% Measures ongoing effectiveness of areas you oversee against target metrics, and makes frequent adjustments to leverage any necessary changes
- 20% Create, adjust and present plans based on data driven decisions
- 40% Own a large part of the project life-cycle from any needed discovery and initial assessments through launch, including ongoing measurement and reporting. Integrate initiatives with internal partners in Marketing, IT, Creative, Merchandising, Operations
- 20% Responsible for evangelizing the evolving world of search engines at all levels of the organization in terms of best practices, industry standards, and legal requirements.

- This position typically reports to Search Account Manager

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- No travel required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- At least 3 years' experience in search engine marketing including on page, off page, social and local SEO strategies
- Experience using SEO and business related tools including: Omniture/Adobe SiteCatalyst, Search Center, Google/Bing Webmaster tools, Google Adwords, SEOmoz, Advanced Web Ranking suite, SEOclarity and keyword research tools
- A core understanding of HTML/CSS
- Project management experience associated with interactive marketing and/or web projects
- Meticulous and strict understanding of SEO white hat tactics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field is preferred
- Two-to-four years of experience in analytics is preferred
- Experience in SQL, SAS, R, python, SPSS and similar tools preferred

- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Paid Time Off (PTO):
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
