Pay Range
For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Nevada, New York, and Washington residents:
The pay range for this position is between $100,000.00 – $185,000.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.
Position Purpose:
The Sr. Manager of Business Development is responsible for developing and supporting the PRO Complex Quoting growth initiatives through partnerships with the merchant community and coordination with cross functional teams and vendors within the PRO Ecosystem. Acts as internal consultant and thought partner within the Complex Quoting team to identify and analyze growth opportunities, develop actionable strategies, and align stakeholders across the organization. Works to coordinate execution and develop metrics to monitor and communicate progress across Complex Quoting teams and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- 40% Project Leadership/Coordination: Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the VP and leadership team to facilitate efficient decision-making and align on strategic priorities/goals.
- Work closely and effectively with VP and leadership team to keep them informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities. Coordinate yearly SPP process and align with leadership team on priorities.
- 25% Execute Key Meetings/Events:Manage the operating rhythm for the Merchandising Solutions organization (i.e. weekly meeting, All Hands, OGSM, Blue Sky, etc.) to include planning, agenda development, and execution of key VP meetings and events. Attend where appropriate and provide recaps, tracking and follow-up on action items.
- 25% Communication: Curate executive level presentations and communications on behalf of leadership team for key meetings and events. Develop an effective plan for communicating project information to the project team and project stakeholders. Develop written status reports and creates/presents project review documents to leadership.
- 10% Monitors organization G&A and S&SO budget to ensure that the plan is being followed. Creates and effectively coordinates documentation to explain changes or potential changes to the baseline and ensures the approved changes are implemented. Maintains project logs of all submitted changes and their status.

- Reports to Director, Complex Quoting
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Experience analyzing financial data
- Experience supporting a leader with strategic initiatives and execution
Preferred Qualifications:
- More than 5 years of experience in leading or supporting Retail and/or PRO Business Operations.
- Direct experience in the efficient analysis of extremely large datasets.
- Extensive knowledge of statistical methods and modeling.
- Tableau, Big Query experience
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a master's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
