Pay Range
The pay range for this position is between $90,958.00 – $150,000.00.
Starting wage may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support data science initiatives that drive business profitability, increased efficiencies and improved customer experience.
- Develop solutions by applying advanced analytics methods and algorithms for identifying trends and providing business solutions.
- Design and develop algorithms and models to use against large datasets to create business insights.
- Support data science projects by conducting effective analysis to solve business problems.
- Execute tasks with high levels of efficiency and quality.
- Consult with Data Scientists or Sr. Data Scientists on appropriate selection, utilization and interpretation of advanced analytical methodologies.
- Learn about the assigned business areas to provide better solutions by incorporating business-specific knowledge.
- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audience.
- Support preparation of reports, updates and/or presentations related to progress made on a project or solution.
- Highlight potential impacts of recommendations to drive alignment and appropriate implementation.
- Keep up to date on industry trends, best practices and emerging methodologies.
- Continually develop skills and expertise in data analytics concepts and methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to apply learnings.
- Telecommuting available.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Business Analytics & Project Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Experience in the following skills are required:
- Python
- SQL
- Tableau
- Cloud Technologies.

Paid Time Off Benefits
Salaried associates are eligible for 2 weeks of vacation in their first year; FT hourly will be eligible for 40 hours of paid vacation time after 6 months of continuous service; (for positions in Washington State, Spokane, and Tacoma only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 40 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater; (for positions in Seattle only) – Salary and Temporary associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked; FT associates will earn 1 hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked or 4 hours per month, whichever is greater.
