Position Purpose:
The Install Services Planner is responsible for supporting the Merchant in assigned category, managing and driving the execution and maintenance of services programs and products. They focus on cross functional coordination and implementation and execution of new and existing service programs within the Home Services business. The Install Services Planner also assists THD field partners, Customer Care, stores, service providers, and suppliers with questions and program-related issues (e.g., cost, sku, marketing etc.). Install Services Planner also provide data analysis and maintain program scope in order to drive future strategic initiatives and work on special projects as time permits.
Key Responsibilities:
- 40%
- Project Maintenance: Coordinates all aspects of a service program through in-store and/or at home execution (e.g. on-boarding new suppliers, marketing materials, sku maintenance, promotions management and price changes/updates); Reviews product cost and retail sheets to confirm product pricing and considers margin impacts
- Provides support to the field leadership teams to ensure consistent program performance; Assist with product and service provider line reviews for new and existing suppliers; Assist with changes to installation programs/SKUs

- Customer Service: Responds to inquiries from stores, services providers, and suppliers and addresses issues promptly and efficiently; Partners with cross functional teams to provide solutions to problems and requests; Assists vendors with setup when working in new market; Communicates product/process change to service providers
- Resolves vendor-relates issues (e.g., local permits, IT issues, refunds from stores, compliance with THD legal team and local governments); Acts as a point of contact between suppliers, service providers and THD associates during times of conflict; Assists new vendor with onboarding procedures (e.g., legal procedures, contracts

- Program Data Analytics & Special Projects: Provides analysis of program performance and provides forecasting (e.g., sku/ store status, PO- detail reports, sales metrics, comp, shrink, lead conversion, market competitiveness etc.); Provides solutions and recommendations for increased productivity and continually refine process
- Communicates status and performance of program and or tests within the team, business partners, and service providers (i.e., weekly); Serves as a key contributor on various projects within a business function for strategic initiatives & everyday interaction within Department; Proposes special projects to organizational partners
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position reports to an Install Merchant.
- This position has no direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelors degree, in a business, marketing or equivalent related field
- 2 years of retail or merchandising experience
- Project management experience
- Customer service experience

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
