The Customer Analytics team conducts advanced modeling and analysis of customer data in order to provide insights to THD’s senior leaders to support strategic decisions with actionable insights about THD’s customers. Manager – Customer Analytics is responsible for providing actionable insights to a broad range of audience including senior leaders and internal clients from marketing, operations, and merchandising. This position is also responsible for identifying marketing opportunities and coordinating projects across onsite and offshore teams. Being a subject matter expert in advanced statistical, econometric, and quantitative analytical techniques Manager – Customer Analytics will play a pivotal role in enhancing THD’s ability to anticipate the customer needs.
Manager – Customer Analytics, under close supervision from the Sr. Manager, will also be responsible for setting strategic guidelines and scoping analytical projects for the team. This role ensures a smooth execution of projects and that all key milestones are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- 30% Project Identification,Scoping & management: Partner w/marketing & merchandising leadership to identify business needs for customer analytics. Provide thought partnership in strategic merchandising & marketing decisions. Ensure accurate & timely completion of various projects by effectively utilizing offshore & onsite resources.
- 20% Establish best practices and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Develop best in class methodologies to extract actionable insights from new data streams like mobile app, social and clickstream data.
- 10% Mentor new team members and provide Subject Matter Expertise in Statistical analytic techniques.
- 10% Develop Predictive models to identify marketing opportunities.
- 20% Customer Analytics: Provide analytical and customer-centric decision support to Marketing & Merchandising teams. Leverage customer database and other information systems to identify, integrate and analyze data.
- 10% Dashboard Development and Reporting: Establish and report on metrics of assigned projects or categories to gauge business impact and opportunities for improvement.

- Position reports to Sr Manager Customer Analytics
- No direct reports
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
