Position Purpose:
The Senior Manager Corporate Communications should be a skilled communicator with a high level of motivation and experience in leading dynamic teams. This individual should also have extensive experience developing and executing effective communication strategies and campaigns that deliver key results. The ideal candidate should have 7-10 years of experience in communications, public relations or similar work fields.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

Communications Strategy: 25%
This position leads a communications team and oversees all communications work. The role involves setting a long-term communications strategy, aligning resources and ensuring the successful execution of the plan. The individual in this position will actively monitor communications metrics and stakeholder feedback to identify trends and areas of concern while proactively identifying ways to enhance communication effectiveness to achieve business objectives.
- People Leadership: 25%
The candidate for the position should have experience in leading cross-functional teams and be able to provide mentorship, coaching and professional development guidance to their direct report(s). In addition, this candidate will guide and coach their team on how their work aligns with the team's objectives, their business partner’s strategy, and our overall enterprise.

Strategic Business Partnership & Relationship Management: 20%
The ideal candidate must build an in-depth knowledge of the business unit's operations to support their communication needs. They should be able to develop clear and concise messages that can effectively convey the business objectives to a range of internal audiences.
The position incumbent will work closely with the team's senior leaders (VP+) to create internal communication strategies, programs and campaigns. They will advise leaders and stakeholders on strategically partnering with communications to best support their business objectives.

Change Management: 15%
As the business needs support, this individual will be responsible for leading, developing, and executing response strategies for change management initiatives. This includes developing communications, monitoring ongoing feedback, allocating resources, and refining strategic support areas, as needed.

Communications Leadership: 10%
As a communications expert and leader, this candidate will also be responsible for bringing our Internal Communications Center of Excellence strategy to life through various initiatives.
