The Sr. Manager, Merchant Engagement is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing business processes, systems, and engagement strategies that advance the goals of The Home Depot’s Supplier Analytics Program. This role ensures alignment with the company’s overall merchandising strategy, driving measurable improvements in merchant/supplier collaboration, contract renewals, and overall program adoption. Leading the Supplier Analytics Program efforts at the SSC in ATL, The Senior Manager, Merchant Engagement oversees a team that innovates, executes, and continuously optimizes strategies that support Program priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute merchant engagement strategies aligned with Supplier Analytics Program goals
- Define and implement engagement strategies that enhance merchant–supplier collaboration.
- Ensure initiatives align with broader merchandising priorities and deliver measurable business value.
- Apply strategic thinking, process design, and quantitative analysis to drive improvements.
Influence stakeholders to drive cross-functional alignment and program engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing data-driven insights that shape decisions
- Partner across leadership and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and momentum
Drive monetization and renewals
- Drive the overall monetization strategy to ensure broad supplier participation in alignment with current and new program capabilities
- Develop and execute renewal strategies, ensuring supplier retention and program monetization.
Build and lead a high-performing team
- Lead, coach, and mentor team members to maximize their impact
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth
- Provide strategic direction while supporting tactical execution of daily deliverables.
- Act as a thought leader and mentor to enhance organizational expertise.

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
