Position Purpose:
The Sr. Analyst of COA & Payments Analytics is responsible for analyzing monthly payment processing and network fees to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies with the payment processors and card brands.
Will support the buildout of a dynamic debit card transaction routing model by applying machine learning techniques to build and train models
Key Responsibilities:
Payments Analytics & Reporting
- Performing complex queries in GBQ to mine transaction-level data; analyzing data sets from GBQ query output for opportunities to improve payment processing, implement cost of acceptance reduction strategies.
- Synthesizing data into meaningful, actionable business insights and articulating them to management.
- Helping develop and maintaining a reporting suite of KPI tracking, forecasts, and alerts to help manage the business; deep-dive variances and provide actionable insights into key drivers
- Analyzing monthly Check processing expense and to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies.
- Developing and maintaining tracking tools to ensure THD’s financial commitments and contractual terms are met
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years or experience
- Proficient with SQL, GBQ modeling and Machine Learning tools
- Proficient with visualization tools such as Tableau
- Proficient with Excel and doing analysis within
- Strong organizational skills to manage projects end-to-end
- Experience with project management tools
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and professional
- Collaborates effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at various levels

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
