Position Purpose:
The Manager Field Implementation is focused on growing share of wallet and winning new customers in Pro & Specialty. This is accomplished through Teaching, Coaching, and Training the execution on Standards, Sign Ups, & Selling Behaviors. The Manager will manage tactical execution and implementation of Pro and Specialty strategies. Responsible for driving and delivering growth and profitability of Pro and Specialty sales throughout their assigned market(s)/region(s)/division(s). The Manager will partner with the Sr Manager Field Implementation and In-Store Pro and Specialty Sr. Managers to drive execution and consistency throughout their assigned geography. The Manager is responsible for teaching, coaching, and training district and store leadership and store associates regarding how to drive sales in Pro and Specialty. This associate will be required to visit stores to engage with associates and identify best practices. The Sr Manager will also coordinate sales and support efforts between Store Operations, Supply Chain, Outside Sales, and Home Services to elevate the Pro, Do It Yourself, & Do It For Me customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Pro and Specialty Initiatives: Drive execution of Pro and Specialty strategy of standards, sign ups, and selling behaviors. Serve as liaison to the Store Support Center (SSC) to implement enterprise wide initiatives and escalate new sales opportunities. Drive initiatives and provide field feedback to improve the customer experience and selling processes including removal of non-value added tasks. Quickly adapt to change and implement new practices; anticipates impact of change; plans how to communicate change effectively and build support
- Drive Collaboration with Outside Sales and Services: Fosters collaboration with Outside Sales and Home Services Field leaders to deliver a seamless and comprehensive inside and outside store experience and ecosystem for customers. Regularly assess Pro and Specialty performance inclusive of people and processes to ensure integrated efforts. Communicate and partner with Sr Manager Field Implementation, In-Store Pro and Specialty Sr. Managers, Store Managers and District Managers on pro and specialty areas of improvement needed and next steps
- Teach, Coach, and Support District/Store Leadership: Coach, teach, and train, store Associates / leaders and field leaders to foster an overall culture of motivation and drive to help the stores and the organization achieve success. Teach and validate behaviors that drive continuous improvement of regional Pro & Specialty sales performance. Provide updates on Pro and Specialty performance inclusive of recognition and clear actions to elevate success.

Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel 50% or more of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).
Working Conditions:
- Typically located in a comfortable indoor area. There may be regular exposure to mild physical discomfort from factors such as dust, fumes or odors, temperature extremes, loud noise, strong drafts, or bright lights.

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
