Position Purpose:
The Sr. Analyst of Online Pricing will be responsible for developing scalable solutions to support our Online Merchants in setting their online EDLP pricing strategy through competitive insights and recommendations. This individual will drive promotion, pricing & profitability analytics and provide Merchandising with the insights needed to grow total market share. Responsible for analyzing data, key reporting and working with product managers over competitive data and enterprise pricing tools to identify opportunities and drive forward progress for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- 30% Partner with Merchandise Planning Managers and Online Merchants to analyze business drivers, provide insightful assessments and execute strategies to achieve business objectives.
- 40% Track and measure business performance via execution of key daily, weekly and monthly reporting; seek out opportunities to continuously improve reporting efforts.
- 30% Contribute to projects and new initiatives with further strategic business objectives.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Position reports to Sr Manager, Merchandise Planning-Online
- No direct reports
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- No travel required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Online and/or Retail Store Experience. Both preferred
- Financial planning and analysis experience
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and experience managing diverse group of cross functional partners
- Proficient in SQL
- Advanced computer skills to retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data with experience with MS Office; MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project & statistical software.
Minimum Education:
- The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Hybrid – An associate in a hybrid role blends in-office and remote/virtual working to complete their job duties. An associate may be required to work from a designated Home Depot location on some days, and may work from a virtual/remote location on others. We also refer to this as location – flex.
