The Sales Specialist, Home Services (In-Store) is responsible for generating leads for the Home Services programs. The Sales Specialist, Home Services is assigned to a Home Depot store, attends store events, home shows, and other community lead events. This position requires a driven, self-motivated and outgoing professional to meet the needs of THD customers. The Sales Specialist helps our customers understand the installation services the Home Services organization provides and creates the ultimate in-store experience.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
75% – Meets or exceeds established productivity goals by generating quality appointments for the Home Services Installation program. Engages customers within the store, provides an excellent customer experience, creates awareness of the Home Services Install Programs, qualifies the customer to the appropriate program and schedules a free in-home consultation.
15% – Works with Home Depot Store Associates and management to maintain a strong store connectivity. Sets and breaks down store displays in locations that allow it and help maintain the appointment center with brochures and materials. Ensure the program displays are clean and literature is available for customers.
10% – Attends store events, home shows, and other lead events to promote Home Services business to attendees.

– Environment: Located in a comfortable indoor area.
