  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

The Business Analyst – Execution Support will be a key contributor to product data maintenance and improvement. The individual will carry out updates to the QuoteCenter’s product portfolio based on strategic direction through business partner relationships. This individual will also be responsible for identifying areas for improvement. This position requires close coordination with Department Analyst teams and Pricing teams.

This is a hybrid role working from home 2 days a week is optional, but it is required to be in office at least 3 days a week at Home Depot’s Vancouver, Washington campus.

Job Duties:

  • Works closely with Department Analysts, and Pricing Analyst to ensure correct products are reflected in systems
  • Maintains and administers product changes and executes strategic data changes based on department and merchandising goals
  • Strong Analytical skills including gathering data and information analysis to appropriately manage data associated with product types, domains and categories
  • Ensures proper procedures are followed to update data systems
  • Executes tasks related to core operations projects and/or process improvements. Including daily management of incoming requests and projects. Also communicates issues and roadblocks related to their areas of responsibility.
  • Effectively manages time allocation for core responsibilities and other departmental demands based on priority, ensuring activities contribute to team goals
  • Assists in training newer department associates
  • Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at once with minimal direction
  • At peak periods may be required to assist in other areas

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:

  • 35% Execute data updates through several data systems ensuring accuracy and timeliness of changes are based on strategic team goals. Support quality assurance efforts through analysis of peer data projects.
  • 20% Act as a business partner to other teams including, but not limited to, Department Analysts and Pricing by participating in meetings and actively following through on commitments.
  • 20% Serve as a subject matter expert and perform research and/or analysis within assigned projects or initiatives
  • 10% Accurately understands and captures business partner requirements, translate requirements into work products with appropriate sizing to deliver on requests, uses experience to evaluate level of effort for complex changes. Coordinates resources as needed to achieve project goals and deliver on time
  • 10% Execute departmental data administrative tasks & error file management
  • 5% Mentor other analysts in developing/honing business knowledge and analytical skills

Nature and Scope:
This role reports to the HDQC Manager, Supplier Operations.
This position has no direct reports.
