The Home Depot QuoteCenter Product Team connects Pro customers to a wealth of products at competitive prices via software experiences that empower our Pro Sales associates to grow market share with Pros. Product Management is charged with being the customers’ voice within the company and developing an understanding of what our customers will need now and in the future. That understanding will be brought to life in Business Cases, Concepts, Product Roadmaps, Product Requirements and in interactions with customers, senior management, engineering, business, field operations, and suppliers. These positions require proven communication and collaboration skills and a record of accomplishment interacting with technical, product, and cross-functional teams. You must be self-motivated and demonstrate strong leadership skills, good business sense, and experience with software development processes.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES 

  • This PM will be responsible for strategic planning and execution of work in the associate selling-experience domain of QuoteCenter’s ecosystem
  • Develop the product roadmap; articulate the unique value proposition based on a deep understanding of the business needs, market trends, voice of customer, and analytics
  • Collect and measure key product metrics to inform success/failure of each release and plan iterations accordingly
  • Work with Engineering, UX and Business stakeholders to review product functional specifications and provide detailed feedback on customer expectations
  • Collaborate with Engineering, UX and Scrum partners on team’s backlog creation, maintenance, and execution 

Standard Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Education Required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

Years of Relevant Work Experience:
2 years

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a software product manager
  • Experience with mobile applications a plus
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit with a keen eye for identifying new market opportunities and transforming that into an actionable plan
  • Thrive in ambiguity where the solution doesn’t exist, and the problems aren’t fully known
  • Results driven candidate that can take an idea and develop a strong business case that will become the team’s roadmap
  • Knowledgeable in technology and enterprise software
  • Ability to work and lead across all parts of the organization
  • Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills
  • Comfortable and experienced in presenting product vision/strategy to large and senior audiences

 Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Excellent communicator in both verbal and written form.
  • Polished presentation skills, creating materials and presenting to various levels of management.
  • Big picture thinker able to operate effectively at 30,000 foot view, but also able to get into the details when necessary.
  • Strong story teller, is able to formulate cohesive messages with meaningful and impactful points that resonate with target audience.
  • Self-starter, requires little to no direction to be effective at role.

Pay Range

For Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, and New York City Residents:
The pay range for this position is between 90,000.00 – 180,000.00.

Starting salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. The Home Depot offers additional competitive and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.
