Field Roles Consist of the Following:
Field Senior Director Operations
The Field Sr. Director Ops is responsible for the execution of core AP and U.S. Retail Store Playbook initiatives within their respective division. This includes sales, profitability, shrink, operations and safety. They are responsible for teaching, coaching, and training leadership in their division regarding the implementation of these initiatives without adding complexity to the store's operation. They must be able to handle multiple projects and gain the partnership of Divisional Management to achieve goals. They must also remain focused on managing and addressing all Division-specific business objectives, while supporting key AP and Operational responsibilities.
Regional Director Operations
The Regional Director Ops is responsible for the execution of core AP and U.S. Retail Store Playbook initiatives within their respective region. This includes sales, profitability, shrink, operations and safety. They are responsible for teaching, coaching, and training leadership in their region regarding the implementation of these initiatives without adding complexity to the store's operation. They must be able to handle multiple projects and gain the partnership of Regional Management to achieve goals. They must also remain focused on managing and addressing all Region-specific business objectives, while supporting key AP and Operational responsibilities.
District Operations Manager
The District Operations Manager is responsible for the execution of core AP and U.S. Retail Store Playbook initiatives within their respective district. This includes sales, profitability, shrink, operations and safety. They are responsible for teaching, coaching, and training leadership and associates in their district regarding the implementation of these initiatives without adding complexity to the store's operation. They must be able to handle multiple projects and gain the partnership of District Management, including the store Operations Assistant Manager, to achieve goals. They must also remain focused on managing and addressing all District-specific business objectives, while supporting key AP and Operational responsibilities.
Asset Protection Manager
The Asset Protection Manager is responsible for teaching, coaching, and training associates to ensure the effective execution of the core AP and U.S. Retail Store Playbook initiatives. They are responsible for executing core programs and strategies relating to theft and fraud mitigation, operational excellence, safety and environmental compliance in The Home Depot stores (within assigned district) without adding complexity to the store's operation. They must be able to multi-task across stores within a designated district and gain the partnership of the store Operations Assistant Manager and other store associates and leaders to achieve goals. The APM must remain focused on district specific business objectives as outlined by the District Ops Manager supporting key AP and Operational initiatives.
Asset Protection Specialists
The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store. The AP Specialist will utilize several tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, and driving a "shrink elimination" culture in the store. They must demonstrate integrity at all times, respond to AP and Operational concerns of all associates and remain focused on store specific business objectives while supporting key AP and Operational responsibilities.
